David C. DodgeWith more than 18 years of experience in tax and business matters, David C. Dodge has the skill to effectively settle your tax dispute, as well as providing other tax and business services. After working as chief financial officer and controller in the financial services industry for several years, he began his practice in 1986 advising clients on accounting, tax, computer, and general business matters. From 1989 through today, 80% of his practice is dedicated to representing taxpayers with federal and state tax disputes. The remaining 20% of his practice is dedicated to business litigation, estate planning, business entity structuring, accounting services, and general business services.

He combines his business, accounting, auditing and computer skills to get the critical facts so vital to successfully resolve tax disputes. From there his ability to make sense of the complexities of the Internal Revenue Code, combined with his extensive knowledge of IRS, FTB, EDD, and SBE policies and litigation procedure significantly contribute to successful resolution. His approach is unique in that he believes in always taking the offensive rather than being passive and reactionary.

In addition to his 18 years of experience, he holds the professional designations of certified public accountant, of enrolled agent, and of California real estate broker.

He has juris doctorate degree from Western State University, Fullerton, California, a master in business administration from the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, California, and a bachelor in business, accounting major, from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.
